There’s something eating me from inside out
Guess it doesn’t matter what I say
I cough up blood and words that I regret
So long your attention has gone away
These high school words have lost their power
Their meaning bleeds right through this page
I state my case and you impale yourself

Safe place where evil thoughts reside
These underhanded gestures I make
